STATUE IMMERSION
The God’s statues are the sentiments of the Sanatan. Devotees worshipped their gods in the form of statues. But in Sanatan there is no mention of idol worship in any books and Vedas. Example – Swami Vivekanand also did not support idol worship. Yes, it may represent our devotion, eternal love and purity but doing worship is something odd.
WHY DO PEOPLE MAKE IDOLS?
There are various festivals in Bharat. Such as Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Ganesh puja, Saraswati Puja, chhath puja etc
On these occasions, heavy and large sized idols are made in every place of Bharat.
The colour used for painting have harmful chemicals. Whenever these idols are immersed into the water the colors, cosmetics, and chiffon clothes are released into the water which becomes really very harmful to the water bodies.
WHAT SHOULD BE THE OPTIONS FOR THE CHEMICAL IDOLS?
1 . The idols can be made from grasses.
2 . The idols can be made from only soil
3 .Natural colour can be used
4 . There should be a particular artificial pond for the idol immersion.
5 . The immersion should be prohibited into the fresh water.
6 . Guidelines should be mandatory
7 . Awareness among the idol committee members.
8 . Crores of money are expenses on the idols and tents, but why can’t they make an artificial pond for immersion?

BIODEGRADABLE STATUE
WHY SHOULD THE IDOLS NOT MAKE IT?
Whenever the idols are immersed into the water, people badly snatch every ornament, sarees, and hair of the idols. The idols are shoved into the water. After sometime the whole pond appears full of swimming idols on the surface of the water.
The scene appears very heart wrenching. It looks like the dead bodies are swimming on the surfaces of the water. The immersion is mostly like the last rites of the idols. We love the idols, Praises, decorated, worshipped, made pure, made wishes and finally thrown into the water.
Is our worship, devotion and purity only for 9 days ?
WHY DON’T WE RESPECT OUR IDOLS?
“And if we can’t respect, then don’t worship, don’t make statues, and don’t make a wish from God”.
STAMPEDE DURING IMMERSION:-
One another issue during the immersion of the idols is the stampede. During immersion high volume sensual songs are played, gun firing, female molestation, road blockages are common.
Even during firing people are also shot by fault is common.
Whenever the statues are immersed into the river, many people are sunk by mistake. Many young lives are destroyed within a minute.

SENSUALITY OR BAD TOUCH DURING STATUE MAKING:-
1 . It is always noticed or seen that whenever the statues are made, especially female statues, they are nudely shown, badly touched. Even sometimes the female statues are kissed, touched private parts by the carver itself.
2 . Sometimes foreign outfits are kept on the idols in place of traditional outfit. Many videos and photos are available on the social media.
And these whole heinous works is done by the carver who are also the follower of the Sanatan.
We call and worship the female Goddess as mother but what we are doing with them is really a matter of concern.
3 . Other problems is sometimes ex- sanatani selling the idols and it is seen that they keep their legs on the demigod images, sometimes they spit on it.
4 . It is also seen that at some public places, the god’s images are paste on the walls to prohibit urinate, but instead they urinate and spit on the god’s images. And more surprising is that the whole thing is done by the follower of Sanatan!!!!
WHY SHOULD IDOLS BE PROHIBITED?
In every house of the Sanatan people, there are statues of gods present in the form of Lakshmi and ganesh, durga, shri krishn etc.
Whenever these idols have even a single crack or break, these people throw them out or keep them under the peepal trees.
We can see heaps of idols under most of the peepal trees.
The thought behind worshiping the broken idols is the fear of harm in the people’s mind.
Example –
1 . If there is harm then why are people worshiping the broken kamakhya temple (Assam )?
2 . Jagdamba temple ( karauta) of Bihar has also broken idols.
3 . Somnath temple ( Gujarat)
4 . Chhimasta devi temple ( Rajrappa)- The idol itself is beheaded.
5 . Jagannath temple (Odisha)- It is said that the idols are incomplete.
MY OPINION ABOUT IDOLS:-
The statue gives the vibes of the physical appearance of the god. We can feel his presence. We have hope in our heart that God is watching and listening to us. I do not want to hurt anyone’s sentiments but I want to say that limited statue should be made and respected.
I love shiva. I do talk with him, share my thoughts, share my pain and happiness but I do not burn incense sticks and ring the bell in front of him. I obey him as my teacher, friend, philosopher and guide. I do not follow any worshipping method, bhog and flowers. I do worship him in the form meditation in front of him. I do worship to make me a good human being.
