WHY WAS GOD BORN ONLY IN RICH FAMILIES

PARVATI BORN IN KING HIMAVAN FAMILIES

Why was God born only in rich or royal families not in poor families, heartfully asked questions from every person, especially poor or middle class people. Yes, it is true in a large measure. There are many Sanatan gods who were born in rich families, not in poor families.

Example – Sri Ram, Parvati, Sita etc

WHY WAS GOD BORN ONLY IN RICH OR ROYAL FAMILIES,NOT IN POOR?

Sri Ram was born as prince in the Family of King Dashrath. His wife Sita was born in the family of King Janak.

A king can give the right path and right direction to his subjects. Sri Ram incarnated to give the knowledge to the normal people. Here  Sri Ram represents the normal people.

He set the best example of love, sacrifices, dedication, positivity, knowledge, kindness, wisdom, power, truthfulness and to be victorious.

Some of the  deeds performed by him as normal people and some in the form of King.

The second example is Devi Sita, who was born in a royal family, married into a royal family, herself was the  incarnated form of Goddess of wealth, that is  laxmi.

Example – Devi Parvati

She was born in King Parvat raj Himavan.

Sati, her previous birth also took place in the royal family that was Prajapati Daksha.

Etc.

COUNTER ANSWERS ABOUT ON WHY THE GODS BORN IN ROYAL FAMILIES

1 . Yes, Sri Ram was the king, but he went to the forest before his Rajyabhishek. He sacrificed all the comfortable life with his happiness.

He could also live in the forest with his royal subjects and luxurious life but he deserted.

2 . Sita was herself Laxmi, but instead she left the queen chair and went into the forest with his husband and brother-in- law. Even she spent her entire life in the forest. Like 14 years of forest life + and rest of her life in the Ashram of Valmiki.

Sri Ram, Sita and Laxman all were in simple clothes, eating kand -mula and bare roots.

3. Parvati – Parvati born in a royal family but she left the royalty and married to lord shiva. She deserted the luxurious life and went to the kailasha with shiva.

4 . Exception – Shri Krishna

He was born in the jail from the womb of Devki, but brought to the Yashoda and Nand baba in Gokul.

In Gokul , he spent his 12 years of life and left the family and went to Mathura. He killed his demon maternal uncle Kansa and became the king of Mathura. But he also left the Mathura kingship.

Then he settled down in Dwarka. He settled his own state and became the King again.

5 . Pandav was also exiled by political circumstances by their own families. Pandav also created their own palace in the Indraprastha and became king. They made that barren land into fertile land.

They ploughed the barren lands themselves and turned into a flourished state.

6 . Siddhartha was also a prince but renounced the luxurious life and became Gautam Buddha.

WHY WAS GOD BORN ONLY IN RICH FAMILIES

SRI RAM BORN IN KING DASRATH FAMILIES

GOD BORN IN ROYAL FAMILIES FOR SETTING AN EXAMPLES

I am also a village lady , belonging to a lower middle class family. The question always comes to my mind is why Gods are born only in royal families, not in poor families. Is  God also biased? Do castes matter to God? Does wealth matter to God?

I read many Vedic books and tried to find the answers to my questions but all went in vain. Actually sometimes experiences and understanding matters. So, I found that only a king can give the right direction and the right path for a way of life because the king is the centre of society, people, state and country.

A king can easily be found connected between him and subjects. So, a king can also influence the lives of general people.

Someone says “ It is good to follow a lion by thousands of sheep ,but it is bad to follow a sheep by thousands of lions.”

Similarly, Sri Ram gave an example of sacrifices and Truthfulness. Sri Krishna gave Geeta knowledge for human welfare. This is the modern age, but we can find any answers of upheavals related to our lives. We can learn many things from them.

HOW CAN A NORMAL HUMANS FIGHT LIKE A GOD?

Yes, we can’t fight like the gods because we do not have any supernatural powers but we have the power of dedication. We can achieve not anything but most of the things which we want. We can fight, because we are also warriors. The Earth is a big stage, we are characters and we have to play our roles with our full efforts and happiness.

There are many people who gave the examples of our societies such as  Bhagat Singh, Swami Vivekanand, khudi Rambose, Chandrasekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose, Rani laxmibai, A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Indira Gandhi, Sushmita sen,  Saalumarda Thimmakka ( mother of trees) etc.

FAQ….

1 . Why do some gods experience poverty or struggle?

Ans:- Many stories show divine figures facing hardship to: Understand human suffering, Teach humility and patience

Show that greatness can come from any situation.

2 . Why are many shown as princes or kings?

Ans:- Power & influence: Royal birth makes it easier to show leadership, protection of people, and large-scale impact.

Dharma (duty): In many traditions, kings had the responsibility to maintain justice, so divine figures are placed in that role.

Storytelling impact: Ancient texts often used royal settings because they were familiar and dramatic for audiences.

3 . 5. What is the deeper message behind these stories?

Ans:- Divinity is not about being rich or poor — it’s about purpose, actions, and values.

Whether born in a palace or a hut, what matters is Compassion, Truth, Courage

 And Service to others.

4 . 1. Is it true that all gods were born in royal families?

Ans:- No, not at all. Many divine or spiritual figures were not born rich or royal.

Krishna was born in a royal family but raised by a poor cowherd family.

Sri Ram was a prince, but spent years in forest exile like a common man.

Gautama Buddha was born a prince but left luxury to live like a poor ascetic.

So, the idea that “all gods are born royal” is not accurate.
