People love to blame women in our societies .Even women herself considered themselves impure and blamed. A woman is herself a biggest enemy of them. One of the questions that comes to every woman’s mind is that is she pure after sleeping with her husband?
RESTRICTIONS IMPOSED ON HERSELF CONSIDER IMPURE ARE :-
1 . She will not do puja until she takes a bath
2 . She can’t enter the temple until she takes a bath.
3 . She can’t even watering the Tulsi plant
4 . She can’t chant mantra
5 . She can’t mate during vrata and upavas.
REASONS:-
1 . Worshipping God is the religious sentiments of every person. They thought that sleeping with their husbands makes them impure until she takes a bath. After bath she becomes fresh.
2 . Temples are one of the holiest places for every Sanatan. Vibration of Positive energy is fluctuating in the form of waves in the temple premises. So, after mating they do not enter the temple .
3 . Tulsi plant is the replica of Lakshmi. Maintaining cleanliness, purity, and holiness is mandatory for worshipping the Tulsi plant. They can’t water the plants until she becomes fresh.
4 . They are strictly following not to chant mantra after mating because it is against their religious rules.
5 . Mating during vrata ( fasting) is also deadly restricted. It is thought that the whole positive energy will get disturbed and vrata will go in vain. They are not going to get any fruit of the vrata and upavas.

1 . No doubt Upanishads also mentions the cleanliness of the body. In Upanishads it is mentioned that one who does morning routine and baths comes in the category of “sur “ or good human beings.
Marriage is the purest relationship between two persons. Marriage is itself related to mating. Marriage is the boundary between Male and Female to do any shameful acts in our society. After marriage the boundaries break and can be able to become one.
2 . Every person is incomplete without its partners. In this universe every one is in the pair form.
In old times monks, sadhus , and rishis were married. Even our gods are in pair form and married.
In old times the Rishi Muni were enlightened and they were only involved in the religious acts such as meditation, yagyas, Gurukul etc.
All Rishi Muni were married.
Example – Rishi Gautam married to Ahilya, Sapt Rishi, Guru Dronacharya ,Rishi vashistha , Rishi Viswamitra ( founder of Gayatri mantra) etc.
Every God is married . Example – Shiva Shakti, Lakshmi – Narayana, Brahma – Saraswati, Sri Rama – sita etc.
If mating makes them impure, then how have they achieved so much intense energy and enlightenment?
The Rishi Muni were also human beings and born from their respected mothers.
3 . Yes, the Tulsi plant is the replica of Lakshmi. The Tulsi is connected with the house. It is said that as the leaves and plants of the Tulsi are healthy, our house will be healthy and wealthy.
4 . No doubt, Chanting mantras should be done in a clean body. Because it is energy providing. A clean body makes a fresh mind.
5 . Having sexual intercourse during vrata is considered as sin in the Sanatan. The simple reason should maintain some brahmacharya for both men and women. The vrata gives us positive energy whereas sexual activity is the energy losing activity. So, it is restricted during the fasting and vrata.

MY OPINION / CONCLUSION:-
Marriage or sexual activities is the union of two souls. The sexual activities between a husband and wife are not dirty and impure. It is bad when it is done with strangers. Our society, the pheras, the mantras, the blessings all have allowed a couple to live together. How can it be bad?
Example – If a stranger touches a female body is wrong , but if a doctor watches or examines a female body is good.
Here both bodies are shown and touched but there is a difference of perspective.
There is a difference between lust and a couple relationship. There are some temples which also depict sexual activities on the walls of the temple.
Such as Khajuraho temple[ MADHYA PRADESH] , Lingaraj temple [odisha] ,OSAIN JAIN TEMPLE [RAJASTHAN] ETC.
God cannot be made impure . God doesn’t matter if he/ she is pure or impure. God only sees our devotion ,love , eternal heart and soul.
Example – If a whore will worship the god with her faith ,god accepts her devotion. Here the peoples mind is dirty and impure not women.
In the same way ,if a husband and wife undergoes sexual intercourse by considering it their duty then how can it be bad and impure?
I am only dedicated to my husband, and he is dedicated to me. Dirty is not the husband wife intercourse, but dirty is the societies mind, dirty is rape, dirty is outraging a women’s modesty ,dirty is cheating each other . otherwise every thing is impure in this world.
I love cleanliness, chanting mantras but I don’t support superstitions about the relationship between the couple. But I maintain my celibacy and sanctity while doing chhath puja.
